MAC Pearlglide Intense Eye Liner in Black Line

Hi there! So here is a quick post about the eye liner I am currently obsessed with. I was about to meet my friend and she was late so I was just killing my time and swatching some products at the MAC counter. I really wanted to swatch Powersurge Eye Kohl as I don't have any gold eyeliner in my stash. While hunting Powersurge I came across this one eyeliner which just mesmerized me. First of all I thought it's a dark green/black base with dark gold green glitter in it. But then I changed the lighting and it looked dark khaki with subtle gold glitter. As I said earlier I was mesmerized by it. Of course I had to buy it. It was a MAC Pearlglide Intense Eye Liner in Black Line.

Now MAC's pearlglide eyeliners are very soft, pigmented and extremely smooth eye pencils and they are very easy to apply. After applying within few seconds they set and won't smudge and fade away. So if you want smudgy look you have to work fast. MAC describes Black Line as a deep black with golden pearl but it is definitely more than that. I call it mysterious eye liner. It looks really good with green/olive eye shadows. I have been wearing it with MAC's sumptuous olive and the combination looks really good on my brown eyes. You can also smudge it out and create a smokey look only using this.

Over all you can tell I am highly impressed. The only con I think it has is if you wear it with waterproof mascara it is a tedious job to remove it completely. Those golden glitters do stick to eye lashes and eye lids and very hard to remove. The only thing completely removes it is Johnson's Baby Oil Gel. I always use it to remove extra stubborn eye make-up. And if you smudge it a lot glitter do transfer to your under eyes/cheeks. I would suggest to powder your face after doing your eyes.

So that was my not so quick post about MAC's Black Line. I highly recommend you to go to the MAC counter and give it a try. It is definitely something more interesting than your simple old black liner :)

  1. I've been browsing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be much more useful than ever before.

Feel free to visit my blog post http://www.puradabaguja.com/

  2. Aww! Thank you so much :) You made my day. Thanks for the encouragement :)

  3. Very helpful post. I never would have thought of using baby gel as makeup remover. Thanks!:)

  4. Thank you Kirti. Johnson's baby gel do remove stubborn eye make-up or you can also try extra virgin olive oil or organic coconut oil if you want more natural make-up remover :)

  5. Wow this looks amazing! Avon has glimmersticks diamonds eyeliner in black (I think), in which they've added sparkles but I always thought that was a needless addition to classic black eyeliner. This, however, looks gorgeous! I'd pick it up without a thought but I'm sure it's relatively expensive :/ Anyway, nice review :)

  6. Thanks Adi! :) You are right I also don't like sparkles in classic black eyeliner but this eyeliner's dual chrome effect impressed me. If you could get your hands on Rimmel Scandal Eyes eyeliners, just try them. They are quite cheap and excellent eyeliners. I would say comparable to Urban Decay 24/7 ones :)xoxo

  7. It's such a rich dark color! I just bought a bunch of UD liners, so I better not even look at eyeliners for another century..at least :(

  8. I know!! I always try to avoid UD counter just because I get scared that I ll buy another eye liner:p Try this out whenever u ll visit MAC counter though. I think it is quite unique. The only drawback is stubborn shimmer..wish it was less transferable and easy to remove :(

  9. Wоndеrful blog! I found іt while surfing aгοund
    on Yahoo News. Dο уοu
hаvе any tiρs on hοw to get listeԁ in Υahoo News?
I've been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Thanks

    my blog - my Explanation

  10. Hey thanks!:) I have no idea how my blog got listed on yahoo news :)

  11. Hmm it seems like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I
guess I'll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog.

I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I'm still new to everything. Do you have any tips for inexperienced blog writers? I'd
    genuinely appreciate it.
